The South Beach in Miami is the most crowded and sought-after place to sunbathe in Florida. Be sure to apply sunscreen and show off that new swimsuit you’ve just bought – it certainly would be worth it to soak up the rays and get that perfect tan you’ve been dying to have. Besides the famed South Beach, other notable beaches in Miami include the Crandon Park Beach, the Haulover Beach and the Matheson Hammock Park Beach. Finding a parking spot during peak hours might be quite a challenge, and finding the perfect accommodation in Miami can be arduous. Room rates usually vary according to season, but peak times have seen up to USD150 per night in even the cheapest budget motels.

Traveling to this brilliant vacation spot is quite easy – all you have to do is hop on a plane that either lands in the Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale International Airport, utilize the available public transports – everything from trains to shuttles or ATC and Greyhound buses – and check-in into the nearest hotel before continuing your vacation. But if beaches aren’t your thing and history and art is, then be sure to visit the Frost Art Museum and Lowe Art Museum to see a medley of sculptures, artifacts and pottery dating back to ancient Greco-Roman and pre-Columbian times. The Ancient Spanish Monastery off West Dixie Highway is also another historical must-see.

If you’re a nature lover, travel to the Venetian Pool, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and Oleta River State Recreation Park to catch a glimpse of some of Florida’s natural flora.

On the other hand, if you share a passion for animals, then drop by the Zoo Miami and don’t forget to pay a visit to the Jungle Island and Miami Seaquarium to watch some interesting fauna exhibits. If you’re keen on touring and travelling around Miami in a slightly different way, then give the Miami Balloon Rides and Seaplanes of Miami a go. Don’t miss out on some of Miami’s most popular events as well – the King Mango Strut, Ultra Music Festival, Carnival Miami, Winter Party and Miami Fashion Week feature solid entertainment and fantastic music that comes at different intervals throughout the year.

So what are you waiting for? Get on that nearest flight and start traveling to all these wonderful beaches and places in Miami, Florida!
