Looks like things are heating up for the highly anticipated Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising as Enstars reports that child actress, Chloe Moretz, will be showing viewers things that she’s never done before in her long career.
According to an interview she’s done with Teen Vogue, Moretz reveals a lot during her filming experience in Neighbors 2, stating that she enjoyed working with Seth Rogen and that the filming was “wild”. She also reassures people that they will be seeing a side of her that she’s not presented before stating that it might make her a more versatile actress. She then asks viewers to keep their eyes peeled.
Based from that alone, we can say that working on this film is going to change Moretz’ career from serious movie roles to comedic ones which can be a huge 180-degree turn for the actress known for playing dramatic roles.
Moretz will be playing the role of Kappa Nu sorority leader, Shelby. She is the opposite of the president of Phi Lamda, Madison, played by Selena Gomez.
From the trailer, we could expect something good out of it as well as something new from the child star. Nicholas Stoller directed the sequel while Rogen and Evan Goldberg produced it. Reprising their roles will be former High School Musical actor Zac Efron, Dave Franco, and Rogen and Rose Byrne. Other cast members are Billy Eichner, Cameron Dallas, Kiersey Clemons, Carla Gallo, Ike Barniholtz and Beanie Feldstein.
The movie is expected to be released on May 20, 2016.
