Game of Thrones Season 6 spoilers spread quickly as avid fans are eager to update themselves with the series. With only a few months away from its release date, let’s take a look at hints on what to expect on this season’s premier.
Hollywood Life says viewers should brace themselves because this year, everyone is at risk for more death. Even our favorites are clearly not safe. A video teaser even displayed Jon Snow, Ned, and Joffrey’s disembodied heads alongside with Tyrion, Sansa, and Daenerys’.
And speaking of Jon Snow, is he really dead?
With show producers’ insisting “dead is dead” and Kit Harington’s (Snow) denial of his character’s return despite being seen at the set several times, we may not know for sure.
Another video teaser was released showing Jon front and center as well. But is this only framed as one of Bran Stark’s visions? Our questions were finally answered when HBO released a poster showing Snow is indeed alive although not in good health.
Another Game of Thrones season 6 spoiler also includes Bran Stark’s return after not being seen for the entire 5th season. In HBO’s official teaser, Bran was seen with white eyes and was heard saying, “They have no idea what’s going to happen.” This could suggest he is in another body and was warging. A new image even displayed him as standing up which he could not do in the first episode. With characters’ on screen and off screen deaths, we are not actually guaranteed anything. Even Hound actor Rory McCann has been spotted in the set.
With only one castle and two powerful queens, it is not surprising if queen Cersei and Olenna were to have a showdown soon. Diana Rigg (Olenna) says, “I’ve got a head-on with Cersei coming up and it’s really good.” This makes the 6th season even more exciting. Other Game of Thrones Season 6 spoiler that’s buzzing at the moment includes having another Red Priest and Priestess. With the show’s omission of the Greyjoy family (deviating it from George RR Martin’s books), sources hint on adding Danish actor Pilou Asbæk as Euron Greyjoy.
