Common Tech Problems – Help!

Technology is developing constantly and there’s no denying that people are starting to make it a necessity. But problems are inevitable and more often than we want to, glitches arise and sometimes we don’t know how to deal with it. We have listed down the most common problems that we experience and some tips that may help solve them. Here we go!

1. “My computer is so f#^$#^$ slow!”

First try to assess the problem. Check the problem—the websites open, buffering videos or low memory. Some websites just take forever to load so don’t go blaming your PC. Also, check on your memory. Performance is poor if your memory is maxed out. Check up on your Startup Item too, sometimes they can be performance-killers!

2. “Downloads take forever to finish. Why!!”

If this is happening to you often, check your network hardware. It also helps if you download your card’s manufacturer for their updated and newer drive. Resetting the router also helps. If all else fails, we suggest we call your ISP.

3. “My iPad’s not charging!!!”

The same goes for iPods or iPhones, if you are charging it on an old computer, it might not have enough power to supply to your device. Try making it a habit to plug it in a wall socket. If that doesn’t work, you may need to buy a new charger or adapter. If all else fails, you will need to contact Apple or bring your device down to the store to have it checked.

4. “Pop-up ads appear all the time!”

More often than not, the problem is that you may have a virus. Run your anti-virus software to verify this and quickly solve the problem. You can also look up on the product on the ad. You might get help from people who have encountered the same problem. If that doesn’t help, then you might need a complete reboot or system reinstall. We are very sorry for your loss.
